What I like about the Canon A80 it's the easy access to the shooting modes. No need to look around the dial control is right there. Very easy to learn how to use all the modes.

With a resolution of 4 megapixel, you will be able to take approximately 16 pictures!

You definitely need to buy an extra memory card. I always suggest buying a 250 MB. I like that size because it's now very affordable (around $50) and with a Canon A80 you will be able to take approximately 128 pictures.

But if you can fit a 512MB or 1 GB in your budget it's even better.
