Canon SD110 Shooting Modes

Canon SD110 shooting modes are easy to use and have an easy access. Canon digital cameras are always well designed.

The Mode Switch is placed at the top right of the SD110's back, and has 4 positions:

Auto mode: In this mode, the SD110 controls most camera settings.

Manual Mode: Provides complete control over the camera. You can manually set the shutter speed and aperture to achieve a particular effect.

Movie Mode: Movie Mode allows to shoot video clips with sound.

Playback mode

One of the reason why Canon's Digital Camera are so popular (beside of their quality) it's because they are so easy and convenient to use.

Accessories

A full range of Canon accessories is available to extend the capabilities of the Canon SD110.

Memory card

You should really budget to buy additional memory cards. Canon supply a 16MB card which is simply not enough.

With a 16MB you will be able to take approximately 13 pictures!

A 256MB card is a good size and you will be able to take about 213 pictures before having to empty your memory card.

You can buy a 256MB for around $55. Don't buy less than 128MB.

You will enjoy so much more your digital camera with a bigger size memory card.

The memory type for the SD110 is SD Memory Card.

Carry case

I also always recommend to get a proper case for your digital camera. It's practical, they are affordable and you can use it to store your memory cards and batteries.

But most important, the case will protect your new Canon SD110.

The Canon soft case PSC60 will be a perfect fit for the SD110.

Rechargeable Batteries

Rechargeable batteries are also a plus when you have a digital camera. They are a bit more expensive than a regular battery but in the long run you will save money.
