A selection of 5 scenes mode:

  • Twilight
  • Twilight Portrait
  • Landscape
  • Beach
  • Snow

The following picture effects are available:

Black & White, Solarize, Sepia and Negative Art.

Memory

A 16MB memory

stick is supplied when you buy the Sony DCS-P72.

With a 3 megapixel digital camera you will take approximately 15 pictures!

You will need to get an extra memory stick for your digital camera. A 256MB memory stick cost around $80.00 and will be able to take about 213 pictures before having to download your pictures.

Click here to get more information on memory sticks.

Case and batteries

You will need to buy a case for your Sony DSC-P72. It will protect it and a case is convenient to carry your extra memory sticks and spare batteries.

I also always recommend to get rechargeable batteries. They are a bit more expensive than the regular batteries but in the long run, you will save money.

You can buy a "starter kit" that includes a Cyber-shot soft carrying case, BC-CSQ quick charger, the AC-LS5 AC adapter and 2 NH-AA-DA rechargeable batteries.

Click here to get that kit for $49.99.
